Symbols Found On The Palm
by
Myrna Lou Goldbaum

Below is a list of miscellaneious symbols found on the hands of humans. There are hundreds of them; I have chosen the most common symbols to discuss.

MISCELLANEOUS SYMBOLS :

“X SYMBOL

This represents good luck anywhere found on the palm except on the Life line.

The symbol “x” found on this line, above it or below is representative of one’s personal guardian angels. They are your conduit to the higher source.  Your angels are people who have passed from this life to the next one during your lifetime. You may or may not know who they are. They guard, guide, protect and most of all love you. They cannot leave this dimension until you do.

STAR

A star symbol found on the hand represents double good luck.  Almost anywhere on the palm a star counts as double good luck. In the area for reincarnation it represents a past life spent with royalty. This is a rare marking and not found on many palms.

DOUBLE LINES

Anywhere a set of double lines visualize on the palm can be considered a sister line. This does not mean siblings but extra support for self from self much like a relative would offer. Double lines on Life line represent strength and a healthy constitution. If double lines are on the Love line it represents a deep, internal understanding between two individuals.

FORK SYMBOL

This symbol is a fork or branch at the end of the Life line. It represents good thought processing.  The person “gets” the joke, the book or the television show with a quick study mindset. A small fork shows minimal “catching the drift” while a larger fork shows intelligence and a higher IQ.

DOUBLE FORK SYMBOL

This symbol is not common.  The first fork is discussed above.  When a second fork is attached to it at end of the Life line this symbol now represents Mother or Father Earth. The person is a care giver who cares about the environment, people, community and animals.

ISLANDS

This symbol can be anywhere on the palm and represents a trapped feeling, restricted, someone who feels cornered. Everyone has a few islands on their palms at different times in their life. These could be on the Love line in high school, on the Life line with a health matter or elsewhere.

DOT

A symbol of a dot shows the person is stuck in an area and either is afraid to move away from it or too lazy to go for change. A dot inside an island reveals a person who is stuck in a trapped situation.

TEACHER’S BLOCK

This symbol can be in the shape of a brick or cement cylinder. In can be anywhere on the palm and it represents a person who is able to instruct, guide, teach or train people with authority and confidence in their ablity.

ESP

This symbol is located under the index finger and represents intuition. One mark is average, two or more shows an inner knowing. Some hands have none in this area and others could have 4 marks.  Jaennie Dixon and Edgar Casey both had five ESP marks in this spot.

PSYCHIC EYE

This symbol is found in the center of the palm and looks like an eye. It represents a person who has strong intitive abilities and is able to clairvoyantly read others.

POISON LINE

These symbols are markings found on the edge of the palm by the wrist. Poison symbols are allergies. There are two types, those one is born with and those that are acquired during onset of maturity. Allergies are irritants one does not tolerate well.

MYSTIC CROSS

This symbol is in the shape of an “M” and is usually found in the center of the palm. It represents three distinct areas:

1.  Characteristics of a survivor

2.  Money is involved, either given, won, awarded or one can marry into a family that already has it

3. Pay back: the person will not allow anyone to pull the wool over their eyes, misrepresent who they are or what they are trying to do. If this occurs the phoney will be sorry they ever met the individual.

GIVING LINES

This is a symbol found on the heel under the thumb of the hand. These lines are fine and run across the palm. Giving lines are on the hand of someone who is not a taker or user, but one who is a caregiver. Anyone with giving lines receives abundance in their life because they deserving it.

MEDICAL STIGMATA

This symbol is located under the baby finger on the palm. The symbols are straight lines that represent the various interests the person may have. Example: gardening, dogs, reading, swimming, airplanes, science, etc.

SIMIAN LINE

This symbol is actually a blending of the Life line and the Love line. It makes intrepretation of the Life line imposible. There are three things that a Simian line represents:

1. Retardation

2. An overly religious person

3. Finding the love of one’s life and one’s life being their love

STRIPES

These symbols are on the phlanges of the fingers. Long stripes equal boo-boo’s one has made in life. Each mistake is recorded on this area beginning with age 10.

GRILL

This is a symbol found on the palm of someone with no scruples. It looks like a tic tac toe in design and can be anywhere on the hand. It shows dishonesty and is found on the palm of those in jail.

OLD SOUL

This symbol is found in the reincarnation area under the Life line and between the fingers where they are attached to the palm. An old soul is somone who has lived on this planet before this lifetime. The total number of reincarnations one has demonstrates how many soul mates one could have now. Example: 6 past lives= 600 years, six different people one could connect with from their past in the present.

REINCARNATION

This is discussed above. It represnets past lives.

FOCUSING

This is a symbol that is really one’s own determination. It represents a goal setter who does not quit or give up, but one whose concentration is great.

CENTERING

This is a symbol that shows where one is in relation to the universe. If one is centered there are no ups and downs. The person is stable within, not too high or too low in thinking or acting.

GROUNDED

This symbol denotes one who is not an air head, but rather someone down to earth with their feet firmly planted on the ground.

LESSONS LEARNED

This symbol represents life’s experiences and how they were handled by the person. Example: one drowning in a past life, never to occur again for the person learned what not to do next time to prevent another drowning.

NEW BEGINNING

This is a symbol that denotes a fresh start. Sometimes one has to reinvent self to be in the space of their new beginning.

NOTE:

Each of the smybols discussed above are on my own hand. These same symbols are not formed on everyone’s hands.  Some may visualize and some may not be present. Additional symbols not listed could also appear on a person’s palm.
