Fetch the Ball by Guy R. Beining the ball fell & bounced across the room, ending under the bed that was full of debris. bo enters with a knot on his skull & trails past the spectre who might be light, or loss, or conscious, or perhaps just mixed matter. bo began to wonder what wretch was in the hall with eyes that narrowed & did not give in. his buzzing head had brought him here to a mute setting where life was no more then a mutter.
