HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY ILR!  This is very exciting!
Congratulations Etkin, the ILR staff, Guluzar, and Miles.  So many print and online journals tend to fold after two years so this is quite an accomplishment.  ILR continues because of the dedication of everyone involved.  Etkin has a wonderful vision for the magazine he founded.  By publishing writers from different countries, he filled a gap.  Because of this, we can read work we normally might not see.  There is such a lack of international journals being published.  This is why what Etkin has started is so important.  I am so honored to carry on his vision as editor and be part of such a wonderful team.  Thank you to the contributors who have published with ILR over the past few years, and to Halime for the wonderful recipes.

With the start of the two year anniversary, there will be a few changes to bring to your attention.  First concerns the submission policy.  All submissions must now be in the body of the e-mail.  No more attachments except for the photo which must be sent in jpeg format.  The second change concerns how many issues will be published.  Instead of four issues a year, there will be three.  Issues will come out in September, January, and June.

In this issue of ILR, you will read work from authors living in Sweden, Canada, Tunisia, England, India, and the USA, to name a few.  Included also in this issue is artwork which can be found in The Delicate Sounds of Thunder.

I hope you enjoy this issue of ILR.

Again, Happy Anniversary ILR and thank you Etkin for everything!

My best to all of you.
