God Has Moved Out
by
Steve Porter

Gazing across the city
Saint Felix’s pinnacle
is lost in the fog.

Next day, under a revived sun
there’s still no point to this church;
a lightning strike saw to that.

At night, climbing Montjuic
the whole valley is invisible.

What if we wake up and find the old town gone
now that God has moved out?
