Action
by
Ashok Niyogi
there’s consternation
amongst your daffodils
it’s a clash of wills
the fear of a flower
let loose between breasts
a fox into hounds
that howl for grouse
with a wind that goes
incessantly west
to impudent fowl
my white owl
wakes moonless nights
and then sleeps
with switched-off halogen lights
in the makeshift barn
a cock fights
camera! lights!
