Mike Broemmel is an author and public speaker who
divides his time between South Miami Beach, Florida, and Denver,
Colorado, U.S.A. Broemmel’s recent publications include two
novel-length anthologies of short fiction published
internationally: The Shadow Cast (2004) and The
Miller Moth (2002). Additionally, Broemmel’s critically
acclaimed short fiction has been included in two other recently
released short fiction collections: The Creature in the Rose
(2004) Kaleidoscope (2004). Broemmel has also seen
his short fiction published in a number of magazines around the
world.
In addition to finding success in the world of
fiction writing, Broemmel provides copywriting, media relations
and public relations services to his clients across the globe
through a company he founded, Pinnacle World Wide Media
Services.
Prior to becoming a writer, Broemmel practiced
law, served as a juvenile court judge and served on the White
House staff in the Office of Media Relations and Planning for
the U.S. President. During the 1990s, Broemmel was a leading
advocate in the United States for economically disadvantaged
families and the mentally ill. Broemmel established a number of
charities designed to assist less fortunate men women and
children. Indeed, one agency that Broemmel served as the
founding chairman of currently serves 30,000 families in a
four-state region each month. Broemmel is a leader in the arts
community, having headed up two major arts organizations in the
Midwestern United States.
