Thomas Fortenberry is an American author, editor, reviewer, and publisher. Owner of Mindfire Press and Mindfire Renewed , he has judged many literary contests, including The Georgia Author of the Year Awards and The Robert Penn Warren Prize for Fiction. His award-winning work has appeared internationally in many publications both paper and on-line. Notable are Contemporary Southern Poets of 1997, Poetry Magazine, Ectopia, Left Bank Review, Prairie Poetry, Poets4Peace, RAWA, The World Book of Healing, Storytellers, Writer's Hood, Literature and the Arts , and the introduction of H. G. Wells' The Outline of History .
