Beat the eggs
with the sugar,adding the yoghurt finally.Add a cup of oil,then
2 cups of semolina,finally a cup of water.Add the vanilla
and baking powder and mix well.Grease and flour a 35cm tray
and pour the mixture onto the tray.Bake in a 170C oven till
brown.When cooled,pour the syrup over the revani cake and
allow to absorb.Serve cooled.
Preparation of the Syrup
Mix 4 cups of water with 4 cups of sugar and boil for 10
minutes.Then add 2 soup spoons of lemon juice and boil for a
further 2 minutes.Use when cool.
